On the Road
11:30 a.m. On the way to Zaragoza.
12:00 p.m. Arrive Zaragoza.
1:30 p.m. After a mile and a half walk from the Zaragoza Intermodal station, we're checked into our apartment for next two nights.
4:30 p.m. After some cleaning up and resting, we headed out to the public market for some shopping and to walk around the old quarter. It was nice to reminisce about our visit here 2 years ago.
Meaningful Moment
Shopping in the public market with Deb and bringing our food back to our place to sit quietly and enjoy the meal with the peace and comfort of each other.

Random Thought of the Day
So needing a down day.
So, so exhausted ... Not tired ( could go on hiking ) but depleted.
Yesterday was such an easy day without the heat and head wind and long distance.
But the entirety of this year's Camino is a different level with the 90+ degree days and totally sun filled days on our backs.
From the Santiago Bridge
The Basilica and the Rio Ebro
Zaragoza's main architectural structures of the old quarter, primarily the Basilica
On the Santiago Bridge over the Rio Ebro with Zaragoza's Basilica in the background.
Went shopping at the public market and came home with an eggplant meal, paella, Spanish meatballs made with almonds and Russian potato salad.
