On the Road

Temperatures starting in the '60s and ending in the '70s. Cloud cover all morning. Good pace the whole way.

6:15 a.m. Wake up. Our goal today is to walk 8 Mi to Burgo de Ebro, catch a bus and get to Zaragoza by 1:00 p.m. for 2 days of some relaxation.

First place Deb and I have stayed that has at least a mini buffet of self-service where we can get something to eat for breakfast. We're just getting up way too early and leaving for the more standard breakfast that are available.

7:30 a.m. On the road. Weather report for today is temperature starting in the low 60s and staying in the '70s until after 1:00 p.m.

10:30 a.m. Realized that I made a mistake in reading the bus schedule. There are two bus companies with similar schedules. I thought we had until 12:30, but the bus Pat, we want departs at 11:30, in one hour instead two hours. Now we have to hurry. We've got about a mile and a half to go.

11:30 a.m. On bus in Burgo de Ebro. Headed to Zaragoza.

Meaningful Moment

Deb and I are heading to the city of Zaragoza, that we first visited two years ago on the Camino Catalan, which was our first time to Aragon.

Random Thought of the Day

Already 120 mi in 12 days of hiking. Unbelievable effort in in high 90° temperatures.

They are called "polígono industrial", and just like american industrial parks, they tend to arise out of nowhere.

Sun's trying to break out from the clouds, but we wanted it to stay hidden.

Irrigation canals are the lifeblood of this area.
